In 2012 my brother-in-law Gordon passed away at just 32 after battling non Hodgkin's Lymphoma for 3 years. By the time he passed my son Callan was only 3.5 years old and my daughter Erryn was only 11 months. The three years were difficult but we made adjustments. Erryn was Christened in our home as Gordon's treatment meant his immune system was too low to be in larger crowds. She has always felt sad that she didn't get the chance to get to know her uncle and more so that she has no photo memories of him with her when he was well. We spoke to Jim and explained the circumstances and asked if he could draw the three of them together. We can't believe how great the end result is and we love it. It will take pride of place in our living room.

Jim done a great job for me with two separate photos to create one amazing portrait. This was all the more special as my friend had only been with his partner less than a year before she passed away suddenly and unfortunately before they had the chance to have photos as a couple. This picture will be so special for him to remember his partner and the time they shared and that's all thanks to Jim. He has captured them both in the best way and I would recommend him so much for any portraits.

We have had two drawings done by Jim Irvine and we are so very happy with both of them. Jim has really managed to bring each photo to life and really captured each dogs character. We have two more dogs that we plan on getting drawings of and Jim is the only place we will go to have them done.
